Clear Capital: Home Prices Will Begin to Sag Again

Clear Capital’s HDI Market Report describes the 4% home price gain over the summer months as “summer’s last stand” in the housing market.  The outlook is much less rosy moving into the fall months.

Summer gains did not recoup the overall annual losses of 6.2%.  Based on low consumer confidence and continuing high unemployment rates Clear Capital’s prediction is for further price decline through the end of 2011.
